Dominant Copper questions

Hi, I have some questions about the dominant copper breed. I bought them at Coastal. I now know I cannot go and look at chicks alone. Now they are 5 wks old. I read that they only live to be 2 years old and can lay up to +290 eggs a year.

Is this all true? How will they mix with my flock of EEs, Biefehelders, and Ameracaunas?

I'm not familiar with the breed. Sometimes breeding different breeds together can curb the genetic problems since they are only on one side.
