I was watching my chickens the other day and my small Easter egger was flying across the run with her hackles up and challenging a bigger chick a couple times. The bigger chick put her on her way fast with a few pecks to the head. The larger hen is like 2 months old and the EE is a month and a half. Today as I was watching them the same EE ( her name is nacho ) mounted a bigger chick and rode her for a min. I know she is trying to assert her dominance over the other girls. It was just funny to see. She has always been a little terror.
