So my three birds are
1 Cuckoo Maran hen
1 Barred rock hen
1 Dom pullet
That should be good for 2 eggs a day?

Ha ha hard to get them to hold still for a pic

In the first pic in post #18, that looks like a cockerel. No way a hen would have the shiny, pointed hackles like that bird does.

I cant see the hackle and saddle area enough on that one to know for certain, ZZ, you'll have to look in person and see if there are pointy feathers. The comb and wattles arent large for a cockerel, but I just cant see those feather areas well enough in the pics.

Update Well the ragidy cuckoo maran deliverd today my first egg evar
WaHoo Ill think Ill keep her
After looking The barred Rock is a roo So back he goes back to the trading post
The posible Dom pullet cant come out of the coop cause off the roo
Number Uno was a small beige egg and before she laid she was neurotic and the comb was deep red

zz, I feel your pain with dealing with traders selling you birds that aren't what they're supposed to be. Even after doing your research you can get taken. Sure will be glad when I'm more comfortable recognizing breeds. Glad you finally got what wanted.
