Dominique chick: I know he/ she is too young, but any guesses?

I would have said girl! Its wings were too dark for a male, and both male and female Dominique chicks have head dots. From what I understand, females generally have neat dots while the dots on males wander and run.

Perhaps. I think width of barring is a better indicator, myself. The important thing is that you got the female you wanted.

Her name is Salt. Her sis, Pepper, in my avvy, was pretty girly. Both lay now.
