Dominique Chickens - how many males do you spot ?

Here are some updated photos fresh from this morning of “the Dominique chicks” from TSC. I posted a few weeks ago and learned that out of the 4 , one was a cockerel. Take a look at these from today and let me know if it’s still just 1 male possibly or are there more ? 🥴 thanks

Rose combed breeds can be tricky. Two of them have larger, more colorful combs. But barred birds can also be sexed by color at that age. The males will be lighter, the females darker. I see one bird that looks lighter than the others, so that could be a cockerel. I think the rest are pullets. This only applies if they are purebred Dominiques, though. It wouldn't work for mixes.

My guess is that you have one cockerel. Post new pictures in 2 or 3 weeks if it isn't clear by then.

Agreed! Too young to accurately sex rose combs.
