Blind box fun - 4 week old hatchery assortments!

We got two hatchery assortments from Murray McMurray this year - 15 "All Heavies Male" to try several breeds for meat birds, and 15 "Special Assorted Bargain" to have a good time.

The birds are 4 weeks now, and it's been so fun seeing the variety. Some I have guesses on breed, but I have quite a few that are still mysterious!

I tried hard to get good photos, but 30 tiny dinosaurs running around is just the best chaos. There's definitely a huge variety in size, feather development, and attitudes.

1. Definitely a cockerel, but no clue what he is other than handsome.
2. Cockerel, mystery awkward, scrawny teenager.
3. Cockerel - very chunky! I have a couple of these.
4. Fairly certain he's a buff orpington, mostly sure on the "he."
5. Another handsome he, very stocky.
6. Pretty sure cockerel, no clue on breed. Tall and stocky. Sassy little punk who will run over and peck you when you're trying to refill food & water.
7. Brahma? I've got 4 or 5 chunky boys with feathered legs (outside of leg only) Two this pattern, one buff, and one that looks like a barred rock who stole some pants.
8. Cochin? Not sure on color, really hoping this one is a hen.

8 is probably a cochin hen. 7 might also be a cochin not a brahma because it looks like silver laced and brahmas only come in dark, light and buff. 5 could be a cornish. 2 could be a black sex link. here is what the black sex link roosters look like
