I have no experience with Dom males but I know the comb color fills in faster with males. What part of central Texas you from I’m in Harker heightsHere they are side by side. The one I’m suspicious about is on the right.

I'm in Hays County. Do you want a EE or a Welsummer cockerel? I got 7 pullets from Ideal Poultry and 2 if them ended up being cockerels and I'm trying to find them a home as I already have 2 roosters.I have no experience with Dom males but I know the comb color fills in faster with males. Looking at your photos I think my Dominique is a pullet. I'm just worrying to much about having another cockerel as I already got 2 cockerels that were supposed to be pullets.Sorry for the sloppy photos, they are at the age they won't sit still. And they are all dusty, I was trying to clean their faces.
These are 2 of my females at 6 and 7 weeks

And my male at 7 weeks. Sits taller and more bulbous with a more defined point

It's an understandable worry but I think it's a pullet. I think at 11 weeks the comb would be much more pronounced if a boy.Looking at your photos I think my Dominique is a pullet. I'm just worrying to much about having another cockerel as I already got 2 cockerels that were supposed to be pullets.
OK, thanks! It's an understandable worry but I think it's a pullet. I think at 11 weeks the comb would be much more pronounced if a boy.
No worries, I'll be doing this all again in 2 weeks when the ones in my incubator hatch. Lol.OK, thanks!
What I'm seeing is her comb doesn't have all the little bumps on it like my other Dominique, but I guess they'll appear as she grows. I'm glad she's a girl, I just worry to much!Lol, her comb is a normal rose comb. Not sure what you're seeing.
Definitely a girl.
