Dominique or Maran? - With great pics

First lemme just say that up until this week, I thought we had barred rocks.
Our rooster's comb over the past 2 wks became prominently rose and the girls combs are just now starting to fill in. So the barred rock thing went out the window lol.
We've had them since Wk1 (they're 12 wks now)and I knew we had 2 pullets & 1 roo by their leg coloring. (They did not come from a store or hatchery,all I know is a farmer who works with the Agriculture classes at my daughter's hs gave the eggs to her special needs class to hatch.)

Our 2 girls, foreground is Chicken Little and background is Banjo. Their legs are dark wash on the front and yellowish on the back.

Now to the question of what are they? I've looked at the one site with the old book picture to distinguish between Dominique and Barred Rock. Then I made the mistake of looking through Google images for Dominique, Barred Rocks then Cuckoos and they're all a blur now. I need BYC's help please!

Those are Dominiques. They have yellow legs and rose combs. Marans have white legs and single combs. Rocks have yellow legs and single combs.

Just to say, they're still barred. Barred is the color, Rock or Dominique is the breed
