Dominique , or Marans Cuckoo ??

Just bought from tractor supply as pullets any help with breed will be great !!! REALLY Wanted domonique !!!

I believe that u have a Barred Rock. I thought I had Dommers for ever (from Tractor Supply) and come to find out they were the Barred Rock. Now the difference between a Dommer and Barred Rock is that the come on the Dommer is a Rose Come and the Barred Rock have a Straight come. They are different in size. One is a little bigger than the other breed. I also heard that it is actually hard to fing Dommers cause they are dying out or something like that. Not sure how much that is true but I have been looking for Dommers for over a yr. now and only came across 1 person that had them but they lived too far away. Hope this helps!

I agree, probably a Barred Rock. Especially if from TSC. My BR gal's comb is just starting to come through now and she's 5 weeks. You should be able to tell for sure by then, I'd say. Such a cutie! I love that photo of him/her facing the camera all perturbed-looking lol.

Thank u !! I was thinking marans cuckoo since they got some in the last shipment if not dominique. Anyway it ends up will have same colors these are cute chicks didnt pay attention to her expression till now lol to cute

Feet are yellow so that bumps the marans out- they have pink/white legs. The comb will tell which you have. I agree that BR is more likely.
