Dominique roo vs. Cuckoo Maran roo

How do I tell the difference? 5 chickens were given to me today (free!) and one supposedly was a Cuckoo Maran roo, but I'm not so sure. I think it might actually be a Dominique.

I'd post a picture of him, but for some reason I'm having issues getting pictures onto Flickr from iPhoto.

The barring should be different, the Marans will have a straight comb and white legs.

Ok, by straight comb, do you mean single comb? Is that the same thing? If so, then definitely not a Maran. He's got a comb that looks wide and flat. I think it's a rose comb. And his legs...I'd say they are yellow. All right, he must be a Dominique.

Sounds like you have a dominique for sure. They have rose combs and yellow legs.
