Dominique roo x cuckoo maran hens

Anyone make this cross? What do you get? Rosecombed barred chickens that lay a darker egg? or???

The eggs will be lighter than a marans egg and may or may not be an darker than a Dominque.
I am not sure but you will probably get some of each type comb.
I am sure there are Genetic gurus here that can lend better info than me.

I've never tried that cross, but you will get a mixture of single comb chicks, rose comb chicks as well.
If you are trying to get a type of bird like that which you mentioned then contact; tadkerson he might be able to help you out.

Was just curious, lol, as I have a dominique roo (but no hens) and cuckoo marans hens (but no roo). LOL.
