Dominique Rooster - 5 months old

I am looking to give away our Dominique rooster. I would love to keep him but we can't have a rooster due to our neighbors =/

He is 5 months old, very nice temperament, easy to handle.
He was out with our chickens until last week when he started crowing. He was very good with the chickens also, not a super dominant rooster.
Right now we are having to keep him in the garage to keep the noise down. I feel bad and would like to get him back outside as soon as possible.

If you think you could keep him if he did not crow have you thought about using a no crow collar.
Some people report they work well. If you do a search on no crow you will find a number of threads.

Just be careful if you decide to use a no-crow collar. There have been deaths reported on this site when people tried no-crow collars.

I agree with the need to be careful. I personal have no experience with the no-crow collar and that is why I suggested you read the different threads to get some opinions and options on how to us it.

Are you still trying to find him a home? I just got six Dominique and believe they are all hens who need a roo
