I've had my bantam chicks for exactly one week today. I cannot believe how fast they are growing!
The buff still thinks it owns the place and loves to strut around the brooder. The Sebright is a loud little thing, and loves to perch on top of the brooder and peep loudly, causing me to run in the room in a panic to see that nothing at all is wrong.
The OEGB is still smaller than the others, but growing quickly nonetheless. It keeps up with its brooder mates and doesn't seem to notice its size. And the lavender baby has such amazingly cute feathered little feet and a sweet, laid-back temperament.
I am loving being a chicken mama, and I'm so ready to know their genders so I can actually give them real names! I just wanted to share my babies at our one week mark to keep up with their progress.
