I agree that it looks like a Barred Rock pullet. Here's a helpful link for how to catch some of the differences.Luckily for you, the Barred Rock is a slightly better layer than the Dominique. I've also heard that the Barred Rock are a little hardier, though I'm not sure if there's any truth to that.
