Hi! We just put our eggs in the incubator yesterday and are already having some troubles. we have 2 brand new, calibrated Govee thermohydrometers placed in the bottom left corner of the incubator and the top right since it is a fairly larger incubator. (we did this because last time we hatched using this incubator only two out of our dozen made it and they were next to each other) neither are placed directly by the heat source. But they do not agree on the temp! the one in the top corner reads 97-98° while the one in the bottom reads 100-101.9° (F). Our temp is ideally supposed to be 99.5 for our specific incubator, so we hope that these temps are not harming our chicks. Any time we try to turn it down or up, we get temps that are way to high or way too low. And we’ve tried swapping them out and the readings are still the same. Should we be concerned or am i just over reacting?😅
