Probably around 1100.00. I tried not to think of it. The way I see it, fresh eggs cost me 400.00/dozen
Ha Ha Ha Ha, I know what you mean. I shudder to think of what I have spent on my poultry. I have a small flock of turkeys that I have had for four years running around with my chickens and guineas and they eat like pigs. But I like em so I try not to think of the cost, but instead of the enjoyment you get from your poultry.
All you need now are curtains in the windows and a flush toilet. HA!
This is one of the prettiest coops I've ever seen! What a good job you did. Once your hens start laying eggs you'll forget all about the cost, believe me. You can't put a price on watching your own flock eat, play and lay!!!! It's PRICELESS!
Wow! Great job, how long did that take you? It is just beautiful.
"Im going to keep 4 or 5" Have you heard of chicken math? This week you want 4 or 5, but next week you will want 4 or 5 more and then next next week....... Where are you going to put the second coop?
Its so similar to what we want--size too! My hubby recently decided to do the gable roof (we kept changing our minds) but yours looks awfully sweet to me--I may just send him a link to see your photo!
