We just got back from a great trip to Georgia where we bought two mini-donkeys... one from Kate and Ben (aka Helmstead) and tomorrow we are hoping to pick up 3 more Jacobs!! Pictures when we get some daylight! Its not just chickens that are contagious!

I can't believe it...I miss our HEE HAW greeting already!

You guys are great people - sure do wish you lived closer!

Hope you have a wee little baby mini donk in, oh...11 or 12 months!

Donkeys are great--I have two--a mammoth and a mini. Fortunately our neighbors like the brays as much as we do! The first time our mammoth (Mocha) came trotting up to greet me braying, I about freaked. I had never actually heard, much less SEEN, a donkey braying, and I wasn't sure if I was being greeted or attacked!

Enjoy your little ones!

Likewise, can't wait to see the pics.

I must get a donkey this year.

I have had experience with donkeys in the past, and really would love to have one at least, possibly a few.

I would love to have a few goats too. Hmmm getting greedy now...lol.

Would love to see the pics.

Jena.
