Don't cha just love summer?

I'm another NC'er - I don't mind HEAT to a point its HUMIDITY that kills me. My hydrometer and thermostat are already reading 90 degrees and 69% humidity. UGH we had a big storm come through last night and so raised the humidity up that much more.

I have stuff that needs to be done outside as well - and in the part of the house that doesn't have AC right now. X_x to be done by the end of the weekend HOPEFULLY but if it doesn't get done, it doesn't get done - I can't handle this weather but to a point - I'm one of those people prone to heat exhaustion/passing out without warning

We're trying to keep the house cool, but it's not the best for insulation considering it's 91 years old...not going to enjoy getting the bill this month. And the chickens are protesting. But I might keep in their good graces if I keep giving them offerings of watermelon. 105 is supposed to be the high today here in Bolton with the heat index. ugh. I'm staying inside!

It's been so bad here lately, my husband has been letting our strictly outdoors cat(because he hates cats) come inside during the day...wow!

Back in the "old days" I did work outside and you do get used to it..... or was it I was younger then. lol I do enjoy the thank you cards from Miller brewing company though, you do have to stay hydrated you know.

Yep, love the summer. Here in the NW it's pretty mild and doesn't stay hot..today were in the 70's this weekend looks like 90's. Sure beats all the rain we usually see.
