Oh my goodness!

I can't go to TSC because of those "discounts"! Lord have mercy! The last time I was in there they had DUCKS for 50 cents each.

Good darn thing they weren't my favorite breed.

I was in TSC the other day admiring the ducklings. An employee came over and told me they were on sale. When I asked her what breed of ducks they were, she said "Yellow ones".

I had to go in TSC yesterday and managed not to buy any chicks. I literally just integrated my most recent chicks in with the bigs two days ago. We do have the space though and I've always wanted a couple of ducks.....

LOL to funny!! Thankfully, our daughter knows better then to pull a stunt like that. She would be driving those cute little things right back to the store. That's only because we don't have room for more though. LOL

I ordered 3 Araucana two weeks ago. Lo and Behold, 2 more showed up this week, and I didn't even order them. It was a mistake on the breeders part, but now I have 4 Araucana. I gave one to a friend of mine who wanted a blue egg layer. Oh and I also have a broody sitting on 9 eggs, 3 I know are fertile for sure, one is porous so I think it's a dud, and the 6 others, I have no idea. They're a medium brown and I don't have a strong enough flashlight.

The "yellow ones" is both funny and dad at the same time. Come on! Just a little bit of effort to learn the breeds people!


While I was looking at the quackers the manager came by and said I could buy any of the month old light Brahma for 50 cents each too.
Um no. Those were even labeled as straight run. Now don't get me wrong I would love a couple roosters but my neighbors not so much.

Out of the 9 eggs my broody was sitting on, 6 hatched. 2 were duds, and one she accidentally crushed at day 16, so it didn't make it.
