Here many ads get flagged is you're selling livestock by people who feel animals shouldn't be sold, because the change in ownership violates them. (No i'm not making it up, it baffles me too)

I forgot about that. There was a really bad case of it up in Alaska. All livestock adds were flagged.

Heck yeah, you are selling them for the money.....so you can buy new chickens and new feed...... and to get rid of some chickens that won't work in your flock for whatever reason.
They are there for the same reason reading Craigslist so that they can save some >>>>Money if not they are pretty bored to read Craigslist when they don't need to buy something.
tell Him/Her to get a life and keep selling. Yopu are providing chickens for the masses and providing a service to the world.

We did a little farmers' market this summer but early in the spring, all we had to sell were tomato plants.. We were selling 4" pots with healthy, good sized beefsteaks startst in them for $2/ea.. These things were probably a 15" tall, at a minimum..

This old geezer walks over and asks with a scowl, "How much are your tomatoes?"

"Two bucks."

He jerks back in disbelief, shakes his head and says "...aw, jesus christ..." under his breath like he's just completely disgusted that someone would have the gall to ask $2 for a really nice tomato plant..

I was a tad bit surprised to say the least, so I asked "You reckon that's too high?"

He looked a little surprised that I'd heard him and said "Huh? Oh, well, I dunno. I haven't priced them anywhere yet."

Really? ReAlLY?!? You're gonna come in here and throw a JC at my $2 asking price like I'm trying to take your first born, yet you haven't priced them anywhere else?!? REALLY?!??
