Waht is the difference between a pekin and a call duck. I don't know anything about ducks so they may be totally different from each other.

Could someone tell me if Pekins lay eggs and if so how many as well? Thanks.

Call ducks are bantams. They are extremely small. The Pekins are really large! They have a few other characteristics that make them different as well. Pekins are pretty good layers.

One is TINY and one is HUGE.

Also, Calls come in alot more colors...

Call ducks are a bantam breed, reaching a weight out 1-2 pounds and can fly. They are the loudest duck. Plus, they have the shortest little beaks and chubby little faces.

Pekins weigh around 8-10 pounds, can't fly. And lay a maximum of 200 eggs a year. Calls lay around 75.
