Don't know what to do.

25 days and not internally piped and not moving in water....

Yeah, I'd say it's time to toss it. It was moving in water a few days ago right? Tap the shell and see if it was sleeping.

Yes it was moving a few days ago. If I tap on it and don't hear anything should I just toss it or break the egg on the end with the air sac and make sure it is dead?

Please don't toss. I would check. The in and out of the incubator could have caused shrink wrapping and the baby just can't move.

Just my personal opinion, though.

I never throw anything way without making absolutely sure first.

How do I check? Do I just open the side with the air sac and see if it has piped or what do I do. This will be the first time hatching chbicks.

If you are sure you want to check, heat up your bathroom full of steam (so kinda like in the incubator). I do this anytime the eggs come out of the incubator, for candling or such.

You would need tweezers, q-tips and warm water.

But yes, you crack the air sac end carefully. Believe it or not, but it is actually hard to crack a small hole. Then just chips the shell as you need to see in.

So I just make a hole that I can see in. I don't try and take the chick out of there? Or how do I know if i need to go further than just a little hole?

Do not take the chick out of the shell!

There is no way to tell if it absorbed the yolk yet,

The best is a small hole that you can see in. If you can not tell ...just make it a little bigger. But never past the size of the air sac. Then put back in incubator.
And check often for movement.

Here is one I had to help. Only her beak is sticking out. She stayed like this for 36 hours and finally, finish out on her own.

If there is no movement, try touching chick with a warm damp q-tip. If still no movement, she most likely didn't make it.

What I do is I use scissors or wire cutters and VERY carefully scratch a small hole over the air sac. I have accidentally killed a chick before when I thought it was dead, tried to make a hole in the shell, and accidentally stabbed the sleeping chick.

That is a HORRIBLE feeling, so precede with extreme caution.

I just use the blunt end of my tweezers, and just keep lightly tapping until it weakens and cracks. Then use the tweezers to pull the pieces back.
