Because right now I am 15 minutes late with their dinner and they are chewing on the screen door and staring at me while the ducks mill around and quack.

They sure are full of personality!
Now they are eating the siding, time to go chase them off so that I can pretend not to be reinforcing this behavior when I go feed them soon.

Yeah, it was getting dark and if I went out to try to take one they would have run away since every time I catch them up on the porch I chase them off. They are really cute, I just get sick of cleaning poop off the porch.

I had to stop feeding my cats outside, because no matter where or how high I put the cat feeder, the geese always found a way to knock it down and get the food. The ammount of crap on my porches has greatly decreased.

My ducks would roost on carport during the day and whenever they generally felt like it!
I was hosing it off for the umpteen time and here they came...
I sprayed them and boy did they run!
Thought they liked water?
Evidently only on their own terms

They are vegetarians, but they have a compulsion to eat dog and cat food... it's worse even, when I catch a stray rooster on the proch eating the "chicken and rice" dog food. ><

My geese are on probation. 30 go away this Thursday, of the 50, to become Christmas geese. They unwired my stock trailer with their sharp beaks. I had just rewired the whole thing a month ago.

And I just thought chickens did that.

I rewired one of my lamps in the coop for the umpteenth time today. I think it's out of their reach and they find a way.
