Don't think I got what I asked for...

So we went to the local feed store and waited in line for 2 hours to get our chicks. They were sold out of some of the ones that we wanted by the time our number was called. Anyway, I asked for 2 Plymouth Barred Rocks (I know I got these, black with white spot on head), 4 Aracanas (pretty sure I got these), 2 New Hamphshire Reds (got those for sure) and 2 Silver Laced Wyandottes (these are the problem). The ones that I thought would be the silver laced Wyandottes are little blonde chicks. All the pics i've seen of the silver laced ones have black in them. It was a little chaotic at the store. The lady that took my filled out form gave it back to me with a box that supposedly had my 10 chicks in it, I counted and there were only 8. I gave it back to her and told her she made a mistake and she said she left out the PBRs and put them in. So who knows what I got. But they are all cute and healthy appearing so we will see.

Awww I'd be a little upset if they messed up on giving me the SLWs...they are such GORGEOUS birds, I want some when our flock is more established and we have more room

I think a Buff Wyandotte is very light blonde.
