Yeah I just got my test results back the other day and it scared me into changing so I’ve been working on it. What are some good substitutes for it? I honestly didn’t even think of using substitutes and instead have just been miserable and choking down stuff like grainy runny PB![]()
I use powdered Stevia Instead of sugar in coffee or tea.Stevia or monk fruit.
Honey isn't a sugar free substitute but I love using it because it's healthier. Everything in moderation, if your not binging on honey it's not going to kill you.
I drink water all day long by carrying my Yeti thermos everywhere I go. It even sits on the night stand at night.
Most pop has sugar or artificial sweeteners…some of which are detrimental too.
I drink Fresca once in a while. No sugar. I‘d watch the sodium levels in pop too.
It is helpful to have a handful of mixed nuts, a piece of sliced cheese or a piece of fruit to curb your hunger between meals.
Fiber from nuts and fruit is good for you.
Sweet potatoes are better than regular potatoes. Beans are a good source of fiber and most are acceptable when watching your sugar levels.
