don't want exploding eggs, can't see in some - advice please!

I just opened the 3 that i suspected we not alive, and i was right. The two porous ones plus another one. There was a clear difference between the ones that are alive and moving about a lot now, and they all have lots of veining, and these other 3 that weren't moving and had hardly any veining. One of them didn't develop at all and the other two started but died. This one didn't develop. This was one of the porous ones. This one you can see the embryo but it had died. This one was not porous and i could see inside it. I could see there was no movement and hardly any veins compared with the rest. It was just all dark on one side and clear on the other. And this one was porous. I thought i could see movement one time, then i never saw it again. When i opened it it was dead. You can see the embryo there, this one was the most developed.
Thanks for the photos!

I could only see a few (cheap flashlight!). They started coming yesterday: 2 days early! I have 8 now with 3 more pipped

8 for them have hatched!? That's brilliant!

What has your temperature been at? I've heard higher temperatures can make them hatch earlier.
And what's your humidity been at? Did you increase it at the end or kept it constant?

9 now, with 5 more on the way! Temp not 100% sure, used an aquarium thermometer that measures in 2-degree increments. I was trying to keep it a smidgeon below 100 but it was at 100 most days. Humidity unknown, I just followed the instructions and kept the centre pool watered, then filled the middle pool on tuesday as well.

My temperature has been mostly between 37-39, it's fluctuated a lot. And i don't have a humidity reader so don't know any figures but i' had a shallow dish of water in there, I'm going to add another dish tomorrow at lock down.

I'm really excited!!

Good luck for the rest of your hatch! Post pictures of your chicks, i'd love to see them! :)
