I am extending my run using 2x4s and hardware cloth... 10ft x 5ft x 6ft.... i can use some suggestions on building a door at the end. I was thinking maybe something 2ft x 6ft.

Can you pick up a used screen door from a Habitat for Humanity Re-Store or some such place?

We saved all the old doors and screen doors from a couple remodel jobs -- because doors are pricey -- and the screen doors will get a hardware-cloth makeover and become part of the large coop when we build it. :)

Ive checked one re store near me they had nothing... if i was to build one should i use the 2x4s or use something smaller?

It's not impossible to build a door, but they are notoriously hard to build square and hang straight. (I'm told that a Kreg jig helps).

Maybe Craig's list? Asking around to see if anyone you know has done some remodeling and has one available?

Here are my 2 doors. The coop door is tongue and groove pine, stained and polyurathaned and the run door is treated deck boards and 2x4s. In bother cases I built them oversized and had someone hold it against the opening while I traced it along a 3/8 thick scrap of wood so the door is slightly smaller than the opening. I glued and used trim screws in the coop door and just used deck screws on the run door.
