Welcome to BYC from Vermont!

and I must say how envious I am of your lifestyle. We were in AK in '02 for a month and didn't want to ever leave. In fack, my wife says "if we ever go back, we're staying" Went from Fairbanks to Seward, to Glenn Ellen and back to Fairbanks. Palmer is Beautiful! Musk Ox Farm is great!

Thank you all for the warm welcome! It is beautiful up here this fall. Bundick, we have had a black bear mom and two cubs roaming around. They have checked out our rabbits in their trailer, but the footprints show they have kept their distance, we watch over the rabbit trailer much more closely now! They also haven't touched our feed barn (a converted old outhouse), which we are working to bear proof before next summer. It's always an adventure!
