I have an outbreak of coccidosis in my flock, and the only corid I could get immediately was powdered. They give how many ounces per 5 gallons but I don't have a scale. Does anyone know how much in teaspoons to give per gallon of water?

Forget the debate about the exact dosage. You need to treat FAST.

Put a teaspoon of the 20% powder in a gallon of water and get that water into them. Soak their feed with that treated water. Put only Corid water for them to drink. No vitamins, no additives for nutrition. To work, amprolium must starve the cocci of thiamine. Don't work against it with vitamins.

The manufacturer of Corid says that over dosing isn't a worry. Of course, that means within reason, I suppose.

ok! I was worried about hurting them via overdose... I removed their other water allready, and will put the corid water out ASAP.
