Dosage for Ivermectin injectable to apply on skin?

I'm finding so many different dosages. I have Ivermectin injectable, will be applying it between the wings (on the skin.). What is the correct dosage to apply to the skin of a goose? Treating for suspected mites. Goose is 12lb.

It will work much better if you give it orally for lice and mites. When I give it orally to a 12 pound bird I give 0.55 ml.

I was wondering about oral, but wasn't sure. So that's a little more than half a mL? Most I've read said apply to skin. Do I give it again in 7 days, at the end of the "life cycle?" Thanks for your advice too.

Yes oral, and yes a little more than 1/2 ml. It will work much better if given orally.

I agree, when looking to treat my mini pig for mites... all information says to give the inject-able Ivermectin by mouth...
