There are some brown/black dots in some of the eggs . Just wondering if that are fertillized eggs , as we do not have rooster ....
(( I tried to post picture ))
However , this is strange , but we do have a rabbit that is running freely with the four chicks in our backyard . I did saw it jumping some of the chick ....
Anyone ever heard os something like this ?

Brown and black spots are called meat spots, they are blood or pieces of the chicken's oviduct that got into the egg making process- eggs are made in layers- the shell is nearly last and the bloom and brown color is last.

Rabbits are mammals and chickens are birds boy mammals are XY girls are XX, birds boys are ZZ and girls ZW.

they do not have anything in common besides being animals and having warm blood- it is not possible for any mammal to fertilize a bird.

Hope this helps

Are these eggs really safe to eat ???
Thank you for your respond ....

Yes, its just chicken.

I personally cook the ones with those spots in it fully- other eggs from my own hens are allowed to be not fully cooked. (over easy, etc)
