I had a hen start brooding just over a week ago but on Saturday another hen jumped in the box with her. I thought the hen may be laying an egg but she started brooding. 2 hens side by side in the same box now hatching the same eggs. Is this a good thing or not? I have never seen this happen before but I was thinking that maybe having 2 moms may be a better thing.
