Two weeks ago, I brought home these 4 5 week old chicks. I was told they were a silkies, an EE, and Americauna, and some kind of polish. I know the silkies is a silkies but what kind of polish, and are the other two really what they said? Pictures of these girls is next to impossible.

Lovely girls you have there! The Polish is a Golden Laced color. And then yes, I'm assuming the other two (not including your Silkie, of course) are EEs. I don't believe you have an Ameraucana (that's the correct spelling for it. If it's not labeled that way at the store, most likely it's just another EE). :)

Thanks everyone. They are pretty girls and are integrating well with my others that will be laying soon.
It looks as if you have a silky, 2 EE, and a Spitzhauben Appenzellar.
Well, that's a mouthful! I had wondered about the tuft on top of her head that looks more like a pompadour than a Phyllis Diller wig.
I got them from a local guy who was a lot if breeds and seems fairly knowledgeable but I guess no one knows everything. We'll see how she developed but looking up pics of the appenzeller, I think you are right.

As for the EE/Ameraucana, I thought they were probably both EEs and I'm fine with it. I just wanted to add some color to my future egg basket and my girls chose the silkie "Lady Gray", and Phyllis for cuteness.
Thanks for your input.
