Double egg fertile?

Okay, my chicken laid a double egg which got me wondering, if a chicken lays a fertile double egg will it hatch into two chicks or one live chick and one dead?
Or would what happened with my brother happen with this, where one of them absorb the other

Double yolks rarely hatch with any success. Most often one chick dies early and takes the other with it before hatch. Honestly I don't even try to incubate them and just crank up the frying pan when I get 'em.
