Double fencing for run?

Here's the one I have, but other places like Lowes, TS, etc have them also.

Hardware cloth goes on the hostile side of any strength fencing such as heavy duty welded wire. The hostile side is the outside of any existing fence in this case.

Shadrach is correct. Outside of existing fencing. Keeps predators from digging underneath existing fence. Do you have the run covered? That should be a concern as well.

There is no existing fencing. I was asking in advance of putting up any fencing. And yes, I'll have hardware cloth over every bit of the run, including the top.
