I have 3 indoor hens (see my page for their lovely indoor home). I got them March 24. For the last 3 days my EE has been yelling up a storm in the mornings, being VERY loud. FINALLY I find the reason--see below!! I think I'd feel uncomfortable if I had TWO eggs in me and had never laid eggs before--I'd be very frightened and not know what was going on!!! She did really well though and is now in the forage/spa area with the others! Have you ever heard of a chicken laying her first egg, but it's TWO eggs instead of one?
