It won’t resolve it wether he has one hen or 50. Drake’s are obsessive from what I’ve seen, once they decide something is a rival, it has to die or they won’t be happy.
Once breeding season horomones settle down he can become more tolerant but it will start up attain next year, and at any point they could either kill each other, or he might stress the gander enough that his immune system will suffer and he could get sick.
