Has anyone placed a double yoke egg under a broody or in an incubator? I am planning to do this with my next broody and I am curious if there are any specific complications to watch for. Thanks!

People do it yes. Rarely do they hatch. Most people don't believe in setting double yolkers for ethical reasons. There is a YouTube video of an assisted hatch for "twin" chicks.

If you do it I would incubate it artificially, or at least bring it in to hatch if it gets that far. That way you can easily help if anything goes badly.
I've been wanting to do this myself, since I do like challenging eggs, but my hens haven't laid any double yolkers for me since I started incubating eggs again. I'd like to know how it works out if you do.

I just removed one from my incubator about 30 minutes ago. Both embryos had started to develop but quit.
