Double yoked egg hatching question

There are some threads on BYC of twins successfully hatching but as others have said it's rare. The eggs can't usually sustain two embryos but it was a great experiment. Good luck with your chicks...

Congrats on your hatch! I've only incubated one double yolker - on accident - and it failed to hatch (one duckling died earlier and the second died prior to lockdown - it's a very challenging situation for them). Sorry to hear yours didn't make it.
