I seem to be getting a lot of eggs from my quail, both coturnix and bobwhite, that have double yolks.

Is it ok to incubate these eggs? Will it cause problems?
If it is not ok is there some way to cull these eggs reliably? I get a lot of large eggs that don't have double yolks so just going by size isn't reliable.

Thanks in advance you guys always have the answer I am looking for.

Not good idea to incubate as an egg does not have the room for two growing chicks, so the rarely make it to lock down. Best to just candle and get rid of non developing if you can't distinguish the difference.

That was what I thought. I can see candling bobwhite eggs but can you candle coturnix eggs? I have never tried and would think it might be hard with all the spots.
