I have a Charlie too! But she’s a chicken. And not that cuddly and photogenic! I also have a friend with a cat named Charlie!
My Charlie is a 10 year old Pom/Sheltie mix.
He’s pretty cute.
And sometimes colossally annoying lol.
He thinks chickens are strange puppies.
He wants to sniff their butts but they find that suspicious.

You could name them Double and Trouble... Although Yin and Yang is pretty good, since that symbol is probably how they are packed into the egg? Still, you kind of want to know if you have male or female or both, what color, etc. But shouldn't it be Barbie and Ken? Maybe Gidget and Gadget.... Although Hunt and Peck is pretty good, too. I can't vote until they are out of there! Wishing you a happy hatching day!

I’m on vacation, but still checking my phone regularly to see if there are any updates, hahaha. Hopefully tomorrow!

Btw I voted for “Apollo and Artemio” because my cats are siblings named Artemis and Apollo - but it’s even more fitting for poultry, since their mother, Leto, was turned into a quail while she was in labor! Can’t beat a classical reference!
That’s why I chose it too! :highfive:

I’m right on a mountain and it is storming here so please say a prayer the power won’t go out on me with these twins and siblings on my hands! Ughh if it’s not something it’s another thing. If I can’t post pics at the mountain be confident to know that I am taking them to be able to post hopefully tomorrow!
Do you have a hot water bottle to keep the babies warm if you loose power? Or a generator?

You would end up sleeping in the coop!

LOL probably! When I first moved them to the new coop ~3 months ago now I sat in there and hung out with them and took selfies with one chicken... of course I was also locked in there.... but still. :lau

None of us know how to get a hold of him. He took off after his son committed suicide. One brother got a call from him, but wouldn't say where he was.

So sorry to hear that! :( :hugs

:lau You are so very lucky they were not hungry!

LOL they're little velociraptors! Generally pretty friendly with me though but sometimes a little pecky. My dad therefore refuses to go in. He says "they peck me." Big 6' 3" 300+ lb guy scared of 7 little chickens. Pretty funny. :lau

Another funny thing is the fact that I locked myself in there like at least 5 times. We were dumb enough to put a gate latch on the door and, you guessed it, sometimes I crawl in and forget about the door... :lau

Since then I've gotten much wiser though and no longer crawl in or if I do I prop it open with something first. A little embarrassing having to call someone to come rescue you out of a little 4x8 chicken coop.. :lau :oops:s
