That would be a good idea, it is hard to stay busy close to the bator! The minute I try to break away for 5 minutes to get some small task done is when the one I'm watching pips!

Exactly! My first time incubating, I stayed up for almost 72 hours straight because I couldn't keep my humidity up. I'd have to keep adding water about every hour. I just needed a tiny break so I left the bator to get a drink of caffeine and I'm not kidding, I walk back in and a chick hatched. I can't figure out how he fully zipped and hatched in 5 minutes??? I was so mad I missed the first chick hatching though

Exactly why I don't wanna hatch cause I would never leave the incubator! LOL but at the same time... I DO want to hatch... maybe I need to get a broody lol
