I found that the easiest thing for me to use to make whole was a corn on the cob holder thing because the handle helped me keep it steady.
I tried a nail, screw and a push pin.

I use the tip of a sterilized pocket knife, and just lightly tap at one spot until enough shell chips away to pin-hole the membrane. About 1/16th of an inch hole.

This is day 20, right? It may just be too soon for them. Have all the others pipped, and have any hatched?

I think I’m going to use this thing that came with a watch. It will leave a tiny hole. I’ve used it before I’m just nervous cause it’s twins. I will put coconut oil on it as well after I do so. They seem to be doing fine so far so I am going to wait just in case. I have one trying to zip I believe and 5 pipped.

I wouldn't put the oil just yet.
Do the hole then wait.

Better safe than sorry, when you're just putting a safety hole in. I certainly would not peel any shell back yet, if it were my choice! Just make sure they can breathe.
