Thanks everyone that visited my Facebook but for those who don’t do Facebook I will for sure post pictures on here as well once I get some gorgeous photos nice with my camera I will create a new thread for updates. I’m sad it’s over as well. But there will be a new one!

I feel like it is just beginning, watching them grow and seeing what color egg each lays. Even if they are both the same sex. DD and I were just talking about how it's two eggs that just happened to be inside the same shell. Could even have different father chickens. Good conversation with teenaged DD. Thanks for that part of family inclusion as well. (she looked at the pictures of them hatching and thought they were really cute,) Lead to a really good conversation.

Just joined BYC from the UK so i could tell you all how much i have enjoyed this thread & all the support you've given.... what a wonderful community.

I tried to incubate californian quail eggs and failed terribly, but you've inspired me to try again cos, compared to a double-yolker, a few Japanese quail eggs should be easy!!!!!!!

I'm working on my first quail hatch now. I highly recommend you try again!
