Double yolker - RIP little ones... Photos added of the egg opened

Quote:
Since there is two yolks - they would not be identical twins - but I am trying to find someone who may be able to do a DNA test for me should they survive. They could be both the same sex...or one of each- Gender wasnt something I had thought about yet! I did wonder if they could have different drakes as fathers though.

I will need help naming them if they do hatch...a comp sounds like a great idea

I had a quick look earlier. No point trying to see movement in the main part of the egg- it too full of babies now. But I did see a slight flutter of movement in the aircell.. A few days left but it it getting so close now!! It still doesnt mean I will have both twins hatch..but for now I am happy to still see signs of life.

There is more than just a slight flutter to be seen at the base of the air sac this morning...

I am really getting nervous. Its going to be a long 8 hours here at work before I can go home to check now things are so far along.

OH... And just a reminder..I am here in Australia.... So updates wont co-incide with your time too well- but I will let you all know whats happening ( either way ) as often as I can.

gofasterstripe - it was about two weeks in when I originally posted - I wanted to leave it a while just in case....as I didnt expect things to get this far along.
