I have a double yolker egg with one chick in it. It's due today and still alive. I'm assuming he'll need help to hatch since the egg is too big? When do I help? Do I help? Can he make it by himself?

I would think a bigger egg would make it easier on him myself with more room to move around in there to pip and pop out of the egg. I have no experience with it though so don't just take my word for it

I hope he hatches into a little monster size healthy chicky for ya!!

So the chick didn't hatch. It was fully developed and I think it drowned in the other white/yolk. I never even thought of that. Oh well, no more double yolkers here.
