Double yolkers?

My BR laid me one today too. Im not so sure it isnt a tripple yolker, lol. Its even bigger than the double yolker she laid when she first started laying. She's 14 months old. She never fails to lay an egg every morning, so when she didn't this morning, i was a little worried. She finally did though, and i see why it took her all day to lay it

That is a huge egg! You actually might be able to candle it to see how many yolks it has! I candle my eggs when I think they have double yolks and it works perfectly.

It was indeed a double yolker. Ate it for breakfast.

Mine laid double yolkers in the first few months of laying; but now I haven't seen one in many months. Mine are Golden Comets/ Red Sex-links.

They are 14 months old, so they have been laying awhile. This is only her 2nd one, the first one she laid in the first week of laying. But we switch their feed lastvweek, so maybe that contributed?
