My first two eggs were double yolkers. Is it just a young bird's repoductive system or will this be fairly normal for this bird? I would receive a double yolker every once in a while with my previous birds, but two in a row now? Got me curious and want to brag a little too I guess.

That's really cool! Maybe you will have a lot of double yolkers from this hen.

What breed of hen is she?

Just curious... How did you reassemble the egg so nicely after cracking into the skillet!?!

Only kidding. Congratulations and hope it continues.

With my hens, I got a lot of double yolkers for the first month, then less and less. I get one every once in a while.

Red Sex Links, they are four month old or just shy of that!

Retirement chickens, I always crack my egg on a flat surface, on pieces of shells in your eggs that way. I have retirement chickens too!

That's what I thought, but just curious or more hopeful I guess.

My son crack two eggs. 1 egg was a double yolker and the other was a triple yolker. He got 5 yolks out of two eggs.:

When my girls started laying I got a lot of double yokers. As they have gotten older I have gotten double yokers have less and less.

Triple yolker! Never have gotten one myself. Congrats on that one, five yolks in two eggs, a record???
