Hey there!

I've had a pet Ringneck dove for a little over a few months now. I noticed last week she has a little lump on the inside of her joint on the right leg, and that leg tends to be reluctant in opening/gripping. The rear-most toe has always been a tad lifted, as well.

Today I noticed her having some troubles with the foot, when I pick her up, she stands on that leg, with the toes curled inwards into a "fist" and the hock, the joint of the leg, has that lumpy, almost swollen appearance.

Arthritis? Not sure,

Thank you, folks.

Cheers!

Sounds like a cyst or possible fracture.

Would be a good idea to take her to a vet and see if they can do anything.

Also check that there is no threat or nesting material wrapped around the leg.. which can be hard to see... and it can cut off the circulation.

Hope she gets better soon.
