Hellooooo friends,

Just an update on the Laughing dove...
Today is Day 18 that the Laughing dove has been with me. Everything has been running smoothly and the dove's flying ability is progressively improving with each day that goes by. Yesterday evening it very skillfully managed to evade me with a side-ways fly-by, although it needed to rest its wing afterwards; so I see that as proof that it is about ready to be set free and now my question is how much longer should I wait, also considering what the injury looks like at present?...
Three days ago, Saturday, I asked a member of my family to help me to take photographs of the dove's injury that is on the underside of its wing, as I need the extra pair of hands to operate the camera while I safely handle the bird while it is upside-down.
Here are the results...
The "lump", which sticks out, is about the size of a pea.
The top-side of the wing is looking much better...
Any opinions will be helpful to make my decision.
